That’s So RanDumb.

It’s been a hectic few weeks since getting back from Indianapolis; hitting the ground running and jumping back into a semi-regular working schedule after getting a taste of the dream was a difficult re-adjustment, though one that obviously had to be made.

A mixture of jet lag, constant tiredness, getting back to work and jumping back into my regular work out regime (after an extended period time of laziness + bad eating = a general malaise in my character) all contributed to a slowed lack of progress with Temporary, which is currently sitting at approx 98k words; but more on that in another blog. (As a personal aside: if there’s anything you guys and gals would like to know regarding my book, its characters and/or my writing style/habits, don’t hesitate to get in contact so we can swap writer war stories), and an inability to sort schedules out with Nick to carry on our joint custody baby: The Totally RanDumb Podcast.

For those that aren’t in the know: the Totally RanDumb Podcast focuses on finding weird, random, and wonderful stories from all over the internet, and then sharing it between friends. We read no more than the headline and save the main story for the Podcast, in order to experience it together, making our reactions and tangents incredibly genuine and off the cuff. It’s been a fun, winning formula so far, and I hope to continue the Podcast into whatever potential success it may garner. And even if it doesn’t, it’s still a hell of a lot of fun. So be sure to listen in on the latest episode, the first in about a month after an impromptu season break, post Podcast Pizza Party. There’s a further in depth explanation as to what has caused the delay within the podcast itself, so I won’t go into too much further detail here.

The latest episode, #18, goes live on iTunes and Podomatic at 12PM GMT, with us discussing a diverse range of topics, including the origins of the curse word: c*nt.

So if you’ve been looking for something funny (even if it’s just you laughing at us, rather than with us), be sure to download it, share it, and tell your friends! Just be warned: this Podcast is definitely NSFW, and not for those of a sensitive, or easily offended, disposition.
